A Cute and Sentimental Valentine’s Day Craft

Last Valentine’s Day we made “love hearts” together as a family. Before you quite reading due to the sappy title of this project, hear me out. Each of us got a chipboard heart and painted it with things we love. Since we use Valentine’s Day to celebrate different forms of love, this included people, toys, foods, etc. It was a ton of fun! And afterward, we had an awesome decoration that will have sentimental value for years to come.

Countdown to Thanksgiving Thankful Tree

Sadly, it seems like Thanksgiving is getting outshined by early Christmas celebrations and food. And while I fully support both Christmas shopping and food, I want my kids to know why we celebrate Thanksgiving. Every year we put up a “Thankful” tree.
